Cockermouth's All Saints Church
Bellringing 2016

As part of a Heritage Day the bell tower at All Saints Church was open to the public...for those agile enough to climb the 44 stone steps up the tower.
Cockermouth has the unique advantage of being the birthplace of William Wordsworth on 7 April 1770. He was also christened at All Saints Church in Cockermouth on 18 January 1772 along with his younger sister Dorothy, while they were living in Wordsworth House.
